Red Lobster

Iona and Dan (grumpygourmet.net) dined for lack of a better word at Red Lobster on route1 Princeton N.J.  Iona was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with the prompt and cheery service.  Iona told server that we were in a hurry and was amazed when the food appeared in record time.
Meal consisted of some very tasty home made biscuits, good tossed salad although too much dressing.  Have to remember to ask for it on the side.  Pecan crusted shrimp/rice pilaf and well steamed broccoli.  Dan had shrimp alfredo which he was not as pleased with.  Said it tasted "grainy."
There were numerous offerings but as we were in a hurry we did not sample any of them.  Good selections of wines by the glass were available.

The Evil That Cats Do

Firstly I have to admit something. I'm neither Iona nor Dan. I'm the son who comes and blogs too much.
Meydl being bad.
But Iona forgot that while she's logged into Gmail, she only has to open a tab in blogger.com to start to blog.
Meydl being fuzzy. Her focus is fuzzy too.
So hopefully this will serve as a wakeup call for parents to blog more. Or, you know, I'll blog for them. And considering how much trouble I get in on my other blogs...
Notice how the smudge on her nose changes from week-to-week. Here we went for a very '70's-looking picture (my finger was over the flash which warms the image considerably.)
But it's also proof-of-concept that their camera can be used to put pictures on their computers. By the way, it works. Also, it's important to know that if you're getting this blog post in an email you'll need to click through to see the pictures. Otherwise the text on the blog is a somewhat surreal mixture of blog-post and captions on images.
Winston looks quite sinister. But he's really just a big snoring ball of purring fuzz. But he's so dark he kind of needed the full blast of the flash just to see him.
So that's basically all I've got to say. And when I say "I" -- I mean me not, er, them (meaning "us", just not right now.)
Anyway, harass us to blog more and post pictures of cats.

an exciting day at Windrows Hall

Well, I am waiting for a Chinese food delivery.  We chose to forgo the sumptious brunch offered here every Sunday.  I guess they figure we are so old so they stuff us with food.  Actually we look forward to meals and this really is like being on a cruise ship.
